Hi there,

I'm Ashok, and I'm a writer.

I have been writing for 7 years. It’s long time. Writing isn't my passion, but I don't hate it either.

I got into writing because I had nothing else to do. I was sitting at home for about 2 months after leaving job of a salesman. I built my profile on naukri.com and hoped for job calls to pour in. But no one really called up.

Then after a period of two months, a gentleman named Abhishek called me. He had a job offer of a trainee writer. I didn’t think much. And leapt on the job.

Somehow I survived. Slowly but gradually, I gained confidence in writing. Today, I work as a senior web content writer with a New-Delhi based digital media agency. I write for big brands.

But still, deep inside, I know I’m not that good a writer. Given a chance, I’ll quit my job. And will walk away to some distant place where I can just be myself, where I can really live my life, where I can really do something good with my life. But till that happens, I’m here, writing, regretting, and occasionally helping people whom I met here or elsewhere.
